This week we had some time to get ready for our first quiz on the introduction and Chapter 1. We had the quiz and the marks will soon be uploaded on PowerSchool. Next week, we'll start Chapter 2 : La démocratie en action.

This week we finished looking into how to find a verb in a sentence by using the strategies seen in class : encadre par ne...pas, c'est une action, je ne peux pas l'enlever de la phrase. We watched the movie ''Nightmare before Christmas'' (L'étrange Noël de Monsieur Jack) and the students had a short listening evaluation about it. Next week, we will go over the strategies to find the subjects to be able to conjugate the verbs well in a sentence. We will also start a novel study in class about this book : ''La plus grosse poutine au monde''.
