Well grade 6 it appears as though we will only be seeing each other digitally for a while! I will be posting what you need to know here but I have also set up a D2L shell for you to find information and hand your work in. Please be patient as all your teachers are doing their best to make this seamless for you, and your parents!
You will be able to access 30 minutes tutorial time for all your subjetcs (ELA, FLA, MATH) on GoogleMeet every week. You need to log on with your Google account (educbe.ca). This following link explain how to access GoogleMeet:

Meet time, see above. There is a rubric attached to the assignment to assist you. Have fun with this project and choose the format you want to display your research: A Powerpoint, poster, digital story, etc. The learning intention is to learn a little bit more about a Greek God while being critical of the information you are finding on the internet. Please ensure you are using proper search engines. Looking forward to seeing what you create!

Math
You will have an assessment on the unit of Angles (geometric) that will be marked on the report card (average 35 questions). Please click here to start the assessment
Angles. You have all week to do it and it have to be submit
before Friday April 10th at 9:00 am. It will automatically save on my google account. Your answers will be saved even if you are not done the assignment. So, you can do it over multiple days.
When you press submit, you can't go back to update your answers so please make sure you answer all questions before submitting.
We will start our unit of Fractions this week. So please, read page 163 to understand "
Fractions impropres" and
"nombres fractionnaires". You can do the exercises (homework) on page 164 # 1-2-4. Homework will be marked next Friday.
Social Studies
Today, I will make the answer sheet for the cross-word available on D2L. Next week, you'll be working on the research project I explained on the last day of school. The project is in D2L, under Content - E.S. Athènes antiques - La brochure. Make sure you look at the rubric for the project. you can make a paper version or an e-version. If you make a paper version you can scan it or take a picture of it to share is with Mme Vicky and I.
FLA:
As Madame Turcotte wrote, your ''brochure'' project for Ancient Athens will also be evaluated in French. I will focus on the writing part of it: syntax, vocabulary, spelling, use of grammar rules...
The rubric I will use is available under Content - ES Athènes antiques - La brochure.
