Social Studies :
This week we talked about the different social roles during ancient Athens and started to learn about the structure of the government. Next week we will continue to talk about the government and we will compare it to our current one.
Science:
Students will have a Quiz on Wednesday March 11th, 2020
This is what students have to study:
ELA: We have now finished reading the Novel, Tuck Everlasting, and will watch the movie next week, where we will comparing and contrasting between the two text. Based on one of the themes of the novel, circles, students are creating a circle book that will reflect their understanding of the story plot line, themes, character development and much more. If at school Friday, students were to bring home 2 of these circle activities to complete for homework.
Circle Book Outlines
FLA:
This week, students worked on writing their letter. It is a good practice for the PAT writing evaluation. Here are the guidelines and rubric (this one might be a little bit harder to read - the scan did not come out so well): Lettre et grille d'évaluation.
Next week, we will work on pronouns and how to use them. Expect a reading comprehension evaluation also.
For students participating in the spelling bee contest, here is the list of words for the "Concours d'épellation". The finals will be on March 12th during lunch hours. Bring your lunch.
